Sick kid

I hate when the kids get sick ... particularly my daughter who seems to suffer with sore throats because she has 'reticulated tonsils' ... like I did when I was a child.

So the last couple of weeks she has been suffering on and off with a sore throat and generally feeling under the weather.  Yesterday she took herself to bed (fully clothed) and I didn't have the heart to wake her and change her into PJs.  Likewise, she was not feeling well this morning ... so I left her in the same clothes. 

This evening I started the bath and we had a nice bonding experience bathing, washing and drying hair.  Only when we removed the clothes did we notice the rash ...  hopefully it's just a viral rash ... but scarlet fever comes to mind (been there, done that with my older child).  

Should I say again that I hate it when the children are poorly?
