Getting a canary

I had a large reef tank for some time, which I broke down and gradually sold over the last few weeks/months (just have the tank left to sell).  

But now I feel devoid of animals (would have a house full if I could ...) ...

A friend has lots of birds and started breeding canaries .. so I'm going to get one!  Have the cage and stuff all set up.  Can't wait to hear the lovely twittering sounds of 'Rhubard' (it's a pinky-red canary) ... maybe I should have called it Twitter after my new-found twittering passion!
